If you haven’t heard the buzz on Beantown Bride or WeddingWire or The Knot or Facebook or Twitter, I want to make sure you hear it from à deux.
The Wedding Swirl is a Boston’s first and a new idea in wedding shows: on-site consultations. That means, instead of booth after boring booth of wedding vendors packed into an uninteresting hotel ballroom shilling products that aren’t relevant to your wedding needs, The Wedding Swirl allows to you set appointments with just 30 exclusive vendors, each handpicked by the host, Blue Ivy Events.
The Wedding Swirl will cater to high-end couples who want the best for one of the most important events in their lives. To keep this an intimate, high-quality event only one vendor from each category has been invited to present at The Wedding Swirl. And there won’t be booths, per se, but interactive areas where you can experience what each vendor has to offer you and your intended.
I for one think it’s a fabulous idea! Tickets must be purchased in advance and attendees will get an amazing gift bag with all kinds of luxe goodies, private one-on-one appointments with the pros, cocktails and champagne, tastings, live entertainment, prizes and — get this — free parking!
SAVE THE DATE: September 18, 2011 from 11 to 6 at the Artists for Humanity EpiCenter in South Boston. Tickets
