In a past recent weekend I went antiquing, and was inspired to make some Color Theory palettes from some of the pictures I took! Here’s two for this week:

Coca Cola Reds: Taking the signature red from an old Coke sign, and then finding the darker reds of the shadows starts this scheme off with a bright, bold pop! Pairing those reds with an antique sage green and a gray-ish-white lightens things up and makes this palette pretty versatile for a summer or fall wedding.

Blue Glass: Everyone’s favorite blue glass jars are the inspiration behind this perfect turquoise and mint green duo. But wait, there’s more! A hint of the warm hue of Terra-cotta pots brings this palette down to earth and right onto a beach in Fiji. Or maybe in Florida. Or wherever your dream beach to get married on is… =)

I took plenty of pictures at the antique shop, so come back next week for another installment of an antique-inspired Color Theory!
